The sound is throaty, but not too loud. I am thinking of going with a 40 series set up next. I want a louder sound for my SS. Here is a sound clip of my SS idling. The rep said that the Super 50 (formally SUV) PN 52557 is 5" thick, and Delta 50 PN 942557 for smaller engines (v4/v6) is 4" thick. He said both are good options but indicated the Delta 50 would be both deeper and louder.
