WebFeb 6, 2008 · Jan 20, 2008. #1. hey everyone. so i recently had my bottom 2 wisdom tooth taken out. the problem is the food gettin stuck in the hole. i brush after every meal and can get the big bits out and all. but the tiny bits and stuck right in the deep hole and it rots and smells and yada yada. WebHe said to use a heating pad to encourage it to drain. I honestly thought I was getting an infection, despite the surgical site looking alright and no fever. I called the surgeon, and he's not in office, but the dental assistant told me to flush the hole with 50/50 peroxide mix and get the syringe down into the socket to do it. I forgot to ask ...
